Wilson holding his favourite work bag

Hello!

I'm Wilson Chew.

My Journey of faith

I am a Christian after I read the Bible at an atheist friend’s recommendation.

I am an IT professional and have spent most of my life working with computers and IT equipment. I now enjoy journeying with people more than computers.

Although I identify as an introvert, I still very much enjoy the company of people.

I am a child of God.

And I want to share my life story with you.

My Beliefs

Personal Vision

I believe in constant personal growth: in Jesus, in my relationships with people, and in my knowledge.

I believe in being a source of help for people who are also looking for personal growth in their relationship with Jesus, or others.

To journey with like-minded individuals, sharing my experience in the faith, and leading by example in my walk with Christ.

To create and maintain safe spaces in every encounter I have with people.

To practice the teachings of Jesus in my life, and to experience the freedom granted to me through His death and resurrection.

To provide a safe platform where I can share with the site’s readers how I apply biblical concepts in my day-to-day life.

To provide a safe platform where I can share with the readers of this site how I integrate Choice Theory (developed by William Glasser) into my daily Christian living.

I will only share personal information about myself, and in doing so, I will strive to be authentic and empathetic.

I will only share from my own perspective and will not attempt to represent any other individuals or companies that I am associated with.

I will diligently fact-check my understanding of the Bible and what I have learned from Choice Theory. In the event that I share both together, I will make an effort to reconcile the teachings of Choice Theory with the principles and teachings of the Bible.

Final Words

In my personal sharing, I acknowledge that the readers of this site may have a different perspective of the information that I have given.

I hold the belief that having different views doesn’t determine whether each of us is right or wrong.

My suggestion is to take what is useful to you, and leave the rest behind for your consideration later.

Building a Meaningful Cell Consensus

Forming a consensus within a cell group is a powerful process that unites members toward a shared vision while respecting individual goals. Through years of practice and learning, I’ve identified three core elements that were helpful in forming the foundation of a...
